- Targets K-2 students by providing ipads to help with all types of students
- Incorporates technology to involve community members and museums
FMCE Target Funding Initiatives
STEMA → AFG: $75,000, $100,000, or Dare to Dream
- $400,000 = MacBooks Each Kid Grades 5 – 12 (The Mooresville Principle)
- Earth Dome / Sky Dome
- STEM Programs / Partners / Center – CNCC and Local Energy Companies
- Provide Technical Tools (MacBooks, I-Pads, ebooks, The Next I-Pad???)
Literacy → AFG: $5000 to $10,000
- 13 / 3 Book Drive – Pilot Program Thru 2015
- Fund Literacy Programs such as “Passport to Reading”
Bears Ears Grant for Innovation and Excellence → AFG: $15,000
- Funding for Teachers to Foster Innovation and Excellence in the Classroom
Black Mountain to Yampa River Fund → AFG: $10,000
- Provide Materials and Opportunities that fall outside the classroom budget
- Field trips / Science Fairs
- Senior Seminars / College Test Prep
Health and Wellness → AFG: $2500
- Wake the Whittler 5K
- Healthy, active students are the best learners
Cedar Mountain Priority Fund → AFG: $15,000
- Annual contribution to assist school district with its priority funding
